Andrew Cothrel brings a unique set of skills to medtech and lifesciences businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500s. After a successful corporate career starting on the “product” side of the business and ending with a VP/general management role, in 2007 he founded Blue Marble Medical. Andrew provides guidance across the entire lifecycle of a medtech/lifesciences business, with three primary areas of practice: 1) Commercialization of novel technology through startups, 2) Fortune 500 consulting in areas such as strategy, optimization, and organizational development, and 3) boutique assignments such as expert witness, due diligence, M&A-related projects, etc. Past projects span health IT, in-vitro diagnostics, orthopedics, critical care, cardiovascular devices, and life science research tools, as well as cleantech . With each client project, Andrew plays an active role, leveraging his extensive network and working closely with the company to successfully reach its goals.
